I am Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, President of the AIMIM and Member of Parliament for the Hyderabad constituency, serving my fifth consecutive term since 2004. Trained as a barrister at Lincoln’s Inn, London, after graduating from Nizam College, I began my legislative journey in 1994 as an MLA representing Charminar. Throughout my career, my primary focus has been advocating for constitutional rights, civil liberties, and the socio-political empowerment of minority communities. Under my leadership, AIMIM has expanded its vision and presence beyond Telangana to become a voice for marginalized communities across India.
